CONFRÉRIE BACHIQUE D'OHRADY

Our Knight Order actively continues its activities and in early April 2026 organized a celebration with the participation of almost 150 knights of wine, while we expanded our order with three new members.
A few years ago, our event series started as an example, which still plays an important role in our day – preserving our identity “Protecting and strengthening its heritage values”.
As part of our event, the new knights of the Order of Wine were inaugurated.
Representatives of 22 orders from Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia were present.
The Nádszeg Wind Orchestra, the Arany Páva Grand Prize-winning Csallóközkürti Népdalkör and the Nemeshodosi Zitera Orchestra greeted the dear guests with a song.
The hosting Order of Wine was introduced by Grand Master Stefan Bugár, then the mayor greeted the attendees. In his greeting, Róbert Kovács, the president of The National Federation of Wine Brotherhoods of Hungary, presented a Certificate of Merit to winemaker József Gajdosik for his commendable activities.
The inauguration ceremony was followed by a thanksgiving service at the local Roman Catholic church, and the celebration was concluded with good-natured entertainment and wine tasting.
