6 June 2015: the Comité des Confréries d’Ile de France celebrates its 30th anniversary

For its 30th anniversary, the Comité de Coordination d’Ile de France des Confréries (COCORICO) celebrates its 30th anniversary, with a mass at the Paris Notre Dame Cathedral, a procession through the Ile Saint Louis and a cruise on the Seine.

The Comité de Coordination de la Région Ile-de-France des Confréries (COCORICO) has just been granted membership in F.I.C.B. It comprises the wine brotherhoods based in the Ile-de-France region, who maintain the wine traditions from the time when this was the main wine growing area in France.

The event is open to all interested wine brotherhoods members of F.I.C.B. The participants will assemble in their ceremonial attire first for a mass at the Paris Notre-Dame Cathedral, then for a procession through the Saint Louis island and finally a cruise on the river Seine which will take them to the Eiffel Tower. The event should attract several hundreds of participants in full wine brotherhood attire. It should get a substantial media coverage. An optional dinner will conclude the event.
