Like every autumn, the Romanian Grape Harvest Festival marked the first weekend of October 2025 . It was a truly exceptional event, with almost 300 participants from Austria, Hungary, Moldavia, Slovenia, Serbia and Romania sharing two days of wine-related festivities and conviviality. The first day was devoted to celebrating the harvest in a relaxed atmosphere: guests enjoyed traditional Romanian cuisine and wines from the event’s emblematic partner vineyards. On Saturday, September 27th, the Saint-Bacchus Brotherhood of French Guiana held its prestigious evening at the Mercure Royal Amazonia, an event marked by refinement and conviviality. On October 25 and 26, the Brotherhood of the Croatian Wine Knights traveled to Imotski, a wine-growing region in southern Dalmatia, to celebrate its chapter and explore its wine resources. The FICB has decided to organise a friendly tournament called the ‘FICB Bottle of the Year’ ,to honour the champion of one of its members each year, while promoting the discovery of wines and the selection methods (competitions, tournaments, etc.) of the participating brotherhoods.
