FICB Bottle of the Year Tournament – Call for candidates

The FICB has decided to organise a friendly tournament called the ‘FICB Bottle of the Year’ ,to honour the champion of one of its members each year, while promoting the discovery of wines and the selection methods (competitions, tournaments, etc.) of the participating brotherhoods. It will take place on the eve of the General Meeting, on 6 February 2026, at the Paris Wine Museum.The Tournament is open to any FICB member who is up to date with their membership fees.For

Farewell Peter Hall

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Peter Hall, founder and winemaker of Breaky Bottom Vineyard in Sussex, England, who died earlier this week. Peter was honoured with the Diplome d’Honneur, of FICB nominated by the Wine Guild of the United Kingdom, presented to him last November. Cocorico’s 25th anniversary at Notre Dame

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Coordination Comitee of the Ile de France Region Confréries (Brotherhoods)) had big plans: a ceremony, a mass in Notre Dame Cathedral, which had been magnificently restored after the terrible fire that devastated it six years ago. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Saint TYeodor Brotherhood, in, VRŠAC (Serbia)

Responding to an invitation from Grand Master Nikola CUCULJ, President Marc Lesk traveled to Vršac, in the Serbian Banat region of Vojvodina, eastern Serbia, accompanied by Vice President Janesz Dezman.
