The Wine Society of Macau was founded on 10 December 1995. It organizes many wine tasting events in Macau, with wine merchants, hotels and restaurants. It proposes wine tasting courses in collaboration with the Hotel School of Macau. Each year in November, the WSM holds its induction Chapter with a gala dinner at the Belavista House.

WSM comprises over 240 members, distributed in 3 categories: founder members, brothers and sisters in wine (the most numerous) and honorary members.
