Michel ROLLAND, the “flying winemaker”, is presented with the F.I.C.B. Diploma of Honor

Michel ROLLAND, the world famous oenologist, was presented with the F.I.C.B. « Diploma of Honor » by its president, Alan BRYDEN, on the occasion of the Autumn Chapter of the Conseil des Echansons de France, held at the Paris Wine Museum on Sunday 25 October.

The dedication of the diploma indicates that it was attributed for :

  • having contributed in an exceptional manner to the progress and dissemination of wine growing and making across the world, associating his name to hundreds of high quality wines;
  • having demonstrated and shared his commitment to the concept of “terroir” and to the values of the wine brotherhoods members of F.I.C.B.

During the same Chapter, Michel ROLLAND was inducted as “Grand Officier” of the Conseil des Echansons de France by its Grand Chancelier, Claude JOSSE.

The ceremony was followed by an Argentinean lunch where Malbec and Torrontès were served.
