The Jurade de Saint-Emilion in Paris

On the occasion of the F.I.C.B. 2013 General Assembly meeting, the Conseil des Echansons de France organized its Saint-Vincent Chapter at the Musée du Vin in Paris on 26 January 2013. The Jurade de Saint-Emilion was the guest of honor and the banquet was thus an opportunity to appreciate the excellent wines produced by this denomination. The delegation from the Jurade was composed of five Jurats headed by Jacques Bertrand, Honorary first Jurat, and of the director of the Office des vins de Saint-Emilion. The Jurade proceeded with a special enthronement ceremony for three V.I.P.s: H.E. Veronika Stabej, Ambassador for Slovenia in France, Claude Goasguen, Member of the French National Assembly and Mayor of the XVIth arrondissement of Paris, and former Minister, and Claude Josse, President of F.I.C.B. and Grand Chancelier of the Conseil des Echansons de France. Jacques Bertrand was then enthroned by Claude Josse as Compaignon of the Conseil des Echansons de France. A brilliant ceremony and a warm and tasteful gathering indeed!
