{"id":9392,"date":"2026-06-09T17:56:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-09T15:56:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/winebrotherhoods.org\/?p=9392"},"modified":"2026-06-09T18:02:34","modified_gmt":"2026-06-09T16:02:34","slug":"wine-festival-in-chalonnes-sur-loire-news-from-the-fins-gousiers-danjou","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/winebrotherhoods.org\/en\/2026\/06\/09\/wine-festival-in-chalonnes-sur-loire-news-from-the-fins-gousiers-danjou\/","title":{"rendered":"Wine Festival in Chalonnes sur Loire : News from the Fins Gousiers d&#8217;Anjou"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Loire, France\u2019s longest river at over 1,000 km, flows through numerous wine regions, including Orl\u00e9ans, Anjou, and the Nantes region, which are represented at the FICB by the Confr\u00e9rie oeno-gastronomique des vins AOC Orl\u00e9ans et Orl\u00e9ans Cl\u00e9ry, the Fins Gousiers d\u2019Anjou, and the Ordre des Chevaliers Bretvins.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the weekend of May 16 and 17, 2026, the <strong>confr\u00e9rie des fins Gousiers d\u2019Anjou<\/strong> held its chapter meeting in Chalonnes-sur-Loire, during the Anjou Wine Festival.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"409\" height=\"526\" src=\"https:\/\/winebrotherhoods.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/affiche.jpg\" alt=\"affiche\" class=\"wp-image-9380\" srcset=\"https:\/\/winebrotherhoods.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/affiche.jpg 409w, https:\/\/winebrotherhoods.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/affiche-233x300.jpg 233w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 409px) 100vw, 409px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than twenty winemakers were there to showcase the wines of this region, where Chenin Blanc is the primary grape variety.
