On Saturday, September 27th, the Saint-Bacchus Brotherhood of French Guiana held its prestigious evening at the Mercure Royal Amazonia, an event marked by refinement and conviviality. This exceptional evening aimed to showcase French gastronomy, share our love of wine, and offer French Guiana a unique, rare, and unforgettable experience.

The chosen theme, “The Roaring Twenties,” inspired an evening of elegance, sharing, and celebration, bringing together 245 guests in a sophisticated and festive atmosphere.

At the heart of the menu was an exceptional delicacy: caviar, enhanced by an extraordinary culinary creation orchestrated by six talented chefs.

The Guyanese Chefs Association was represented by Antoine ZULEMARO, Joan PARDONIPADE, Alexis LATTES, and Th\u00e9\u00efvan LUCE, while two Michelin-starred chefs from mainland France, Christian ETCHEBEST and Nicolas MAGIE, lent their expertise to offer an exceptional dinner.

A true symphony of flavors, where boldness and finesse met to the delight of the palates.

Reminiscent of the most glamorous parties of the Roaring Twenties.
The evening was also marked by a wonderful educational collaboration: 30 students from the Melkior and Garr\u00e9 hospitality school participated in the kitchen preparation and service, guided by their teachers and the chefs in attendance.

A charity raffle raised over \u20ac2,000, entirely dedicated to the Melkior students’ educational trip to Paris. This will be supplemented by a portion of the evening’s proceeds \u2013 a significant gesture from the Confr\u00e9rie in support of youth and training.

As for the atmosphere, the band La Bande \u00e0 Jean-Clair brilliantly set the rhythm for the evening, drawing guests onto the dance floor in an atmosphere reminiscent of the most glamorous parties of the Roaring Twenties.

This prestigious evening, at the crossroads of gastronomic pleasure, intergenerational sharing, and support for training, once again illustrates the commitment of the Confr\u00e9rie Saint-Bacchus de Guyane to promoting the values \u200b\u200bof conviviality, transmission, and excellence so dear to the FICB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
