The Statutes of F.I.C.B. foresee 3 categories of members:<\/div>

– active member<\/div>
– associate member<\/div>
– honorary member<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The conditions for admission are specified in the statutes<\/a> and the rules of procedure<\/a><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The active members<\/strong> of F.I.C.B. are wine brotherhoods, or associations thereof, and, by extension wine societies, having similar activities and endorsing the International Charter of Wine brotherhoods of the F.I.C.B.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The membership application should be made using the application form<\/a> , to be returned duly completed and signed by the Grand Master of the organization (or the equivalent top executive) having the power to commit it legally, together with a brief history and succinct information on the membership of the applicant. Candidacies for active membership should be supported by at least 2 active members of F.I.C.B.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Among the advantages of being an active member:<\/div>
<\/div>
– Active contribution to the international promotion of the values and traditions that our Wine brotherhoods advocate for the production and tasting of quality wines;<\/div>
<\/div>
– The network of contacts between our members, which is a source of inspiration, information, mutual promotion and collaboration between our members;<\/div>
<\/div>
– Our bilingual website, www.winebrotherhoods.org<\/a>, which we have recently completely revamped and are developing into a leading portal on the quality, culture and traditions of wine, thereby increasing its visitor numbers amongst internet users interested in the world of wine. Our active members benefit from an individual page in the website and may thus increase their visibility promote their own image and events.<\/div>

It also contains all the information regarding the activities and development of the F.I.C.B;<\/div>
<\/div>
– The priority to participate in the international biennial F.I.C.B. Congresses and international events.<\/div>
<\/div>
– The use of the Paris address of the seat of F.I.C.B. and access to a meeting room at the Paris Wine Museum, to hold meetings (booking must be made in advance) and preferential rates for admission to the museum and its restaurant.<\/div>

– The F.I.C.B. membership certificate, which can be used for promotional purposes, and a link to the F.I.C.B. website.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Cotisations<\/strong><\/span><\/div>

The membership fee for 2026 for active members<\/strong> is 150\u20ac. The initial admission fee is 50\u20ac. <\/div><\/div>
<\/div>

Associate members<\/strong> of the F.I.C.B. are associations or organisations that support wine brotherhoods, such as wine producers\u2019 associations, tourist boards, sommelier associations, and museums dedicated to vines and wine.<\/p>

Associate members join through the active members they support. Their membership fee for 2026 is \u20ac150. The admission fee is \u20ac50. <\/div>

Honorary members<\/strong> are individuals who have rendered outstanding services to the F.I.C.B.<\/div>
<\/div>

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMembership of the FICB enables members to benefit from an international network for the exchange of experience, contacts and information. The FICB website features links to their own websites, thereby increasing their visibility. They have privileged access to events and services provided by the Federation, in particular its International Congress and International Tasting Challenge, which are organised alternately on a biennial basis.
